Akinsanya Kambon: The Hero Avenges Book Launch and Artist Walkthrough

To celebrate the opening of our summer exhibition, Akinsanya Kambon: Soul Sessions, we invite you to join us on Saturday, May 30 at 4pm for a book launch and artist-led walkthrough.

Akinsanya Kambon: The Hero Avenges (DelMonico Books, 2026) is the first monograph dedicated to Kambon. Following a reading by interdisciplinary poet and sound artist LaTasha N. Nevada Diggs and a conversation with Sohrab Mohebbi, Director of SculptureCenter, the artist will walk visitors through Soul Sessions.

Akinsanya Kambon: Soul Sessions is organized by SculptureCenter and the Center for Art, Research and Alliances (CARA).
